Feed Our Youth

Meals to SHOW they're not forgotten

Something as simple as a meal from outside of detention brings a sense of normalcy and assurances that our young are not forgotten.

With your help, we can bring a touch of hope that there are those who still care about each person inside the detention system.

How You May HELP

How it Works

ReJuveNation works with detention center staff to bring weekly meals to feed the inmates.  Currently, each Thursday is set aside to deliver meals to the center.  The number of meals vary from week-to-week as does the number of youths, so we have a few options for your business to participate in this work.

Each Thursday morning, ReJuveNation staff will determine which food provider would best meet the needs for that day’s meal.  This will be based on a few factors such as the number of requested meals, the variety of cuisine, a business’s offer of a date to provide the meal, as well as the overall cost of the meal.

Your donation of meals may be considered a gift-in-kind donation, but please consult with your tax professional for this detail.

Typical deliver time is 3 PM, each Thursday.

Meal Bank

Banking meals is a convenient way for you to provide a fixed number of meals to ensure your budgeted gift is not exceeded.  You may also offer individual meals at a specified discount.  This factor will play into when we may call upon you for a meal.  This option may be best suited for businesses that server meals by the plate or as individual meal deals.

Meal Discounts

Offering discounts for meals is another way to manage your costs while helping ReJuveNation manage our budget.  We would ask that there be no upper limit to the number of meals you might allow for your designated discount.  This option may be best for meals such as pizzas that feed multiple people.

We are grateful for all generous discounts that may be offered to us.

Direct Cash Donations

Of course, we also accept direct donations so we may defray costs of discounted meals.  You will find our donation page at:   https://www.rejuvenationwenatchee.org/giving
