Virtual Prayer Walk

Once a month, ReJuveNation staff gather believers together at the Chelan County Juvenile Center to walk the center's campus and pray for incarcerated youth, center staff, and the work of the ministry.  The Six Stops have been selected to highlight the needs for specific areas of prayer.

This page provides an opportunity to pray for the young inmates, staff, and ministry as often as the Lord leads.

Please "walk" with us at each stop and pray accordingly.

Stop 1 - Entrance to the Juvenile Detention Center

Stop 1 - Chelan County Juvenile jUSTIce Center

The Chelan County Juvenile Center is a county agency responsible for providing juvenile detention, probation, and court services.

It is here where our youth begin their journey when they fall short and are arrested.

It is here where the mission of ReJuveNation intervenes and is provided opportunity to minister and share the good news of Jesus.

Stop 2 - Inmate Quarters

The Chelan County Juvenile Center operates a 50-bed juvenile detention facility.  Here daily life is controlled with every aspect of detained youth closely watched by detention center staff.  Many prayers from the young inmates call for the Lord to give them rest as the impact of their situation haunts their thoughts and dreams.

Stop 2 - Imate Quarters

Stop 3 - Gymnasium

Stop 3 - Gym Social and Cultural Center

The Gym provides an excellent opportunity to spend quality time with the youth.  Activities include basketball, badminton, volleyball, workout as well as twice a month engagement with a personal trainer.

We have found that this time has provided a relaxed environment where kids have taken staff aside to talk about more personal matters.  Discussions about family life on the outside, parents, and many of their personal struggles.

The most common topic of prayer at this stop (Gym) is the development of relationships.  Many youths have been directly influenced by a dysfunctional home life, and many have been involved with gangs.  Always seeking affirmation and acceptance, negative influences are prevalent outside these doors.  ReJuveNation works to provide alternatives and examples of unconditional love and a pattern of culture change is exhibited.  Being present for these kids, ReJuveNation becomes a listening ear and a safe place to listen without judgement.

Stop 4 - Juvenile Detention Center Entrance

This entrace may be where youth begin their time in the dention center, but to ReJuveNation staff, this is the place where change, growth, and restoration begins.

Stop 4 - Juvenile Detention Center Entrance

Stop 5 - Juvenile Dentention Center Staff Offices

Stop 5 - Juvenile Dentention Center Staff Offices

On Stop 5 we take time to pray for the staff at the Center.  These people are probation officers, administrative staff, program coordinators, and Center leaders; all committed to care for the young people at the Center.  We are so grateful for the favor our God have shown to us through staff; and we do not take this for granted.  Our work requires their support and acceptance.

Stop 6 - Chelan County Jail

On this stop, we take the time to pray for the adults in the jail which is located across the street from the Juvenile Center.  We want to make sure we seek protection from the youth from ever going to this jail.

Stop 6 - Chelan County Jail

Stop 7 - The Door of Final Release

FINAL STOP - Door of RELEASE

Tucked away in a corner right next to the Juvenile Center’s, Juvenile’s Entrance, sits the door where youth leave incarceration to a life of next steps and continued healing.

ReJuveNation staff cherish this place and the moment where youth move to the next, and very important step towards their true freedom.  It is recognized that this moment becomes crucial as these young people begin making choices that will impact the remainder of their lives.

ReJuveNation staff hope that this is not the end of their ministry to these now released young people.  Rather, this moment is seen as vital to true continued healing and restoration.  ReJuveNation staff continue to meet with youth, families, and friends on the outside of detention with the hope of providing guidance and teaching through requested, one-on-one support.
